Group Management for a Multimedia Collaboration Service

Abstract

Telecommunications applications supporting group communication and collaboration have several common requirements that have not yet been satisfied adequately. In this article we discuss the design of service components for group support, based on the TINA framework. These service components are to be integrated into the session management of a multimedia collaboration service, but they should also be designed for reuse in other teleservices.
