Biographical Notes
mabioI started programming on a C=64 home computer before 10 and went my way through more hardware and programming languages over the time ... My long-term hobby programming project include Clicker, a modular operating system kernel and Bilou, a video game that has now turned into a sort of webcomic due to the lack of hobby time these last days.

Discovering Internet in '97 as i joined the University probably changed my life more than i'll ever admit ... I bought the book "Computer Networks, a System Approach" in '98 and opt for Pr Leduc's optional course (Multimedia Networks Engineering) in '01. And when Pr. Leduc suggests i join the Research Unit in Networking a couple of days after the first lecture, i barely hesitated.

In June 2001, i get my 4-year degree in computer science at ULg (partly thanks to my Clicker microkernel, presented as end-of-studies thesis).

After collaboration on the ARTHUR project of walloon region, i'm now a fellow researcher of FNRS, investigating the potential of active networks, and especially their implementation on Intel IXP network processors.
I finally apply for a Master diploma (well, it's a "DEA" here. and i have no iDEA of how it's exactly named where you are) this year ('06) and the PhD thesis is due for next year ('07) ... If you're PhD, you probably know what it means ... if you're not, well ... "ignorance is bliss" :P
